Shakespeare Logo King Lyndon Lear and His Year of Crisis, a full-length play, written and adapted, performed by actor Dan Manning at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery, commissioned and produced by the National Portrait Gallery in conjunction with the Washington DC Shakespeare Festival, June 2007. Also performed at the Page-to-Stage Festival at the Kennedy Center, Washington, DC, September 2007.

  

  

 

Swift to My Wounded Swift to My Wounded: Walt Whitman and the Civil War, a full length play, written and adapted, based on Walt Whitman’s Civil War experience in Washington, DC. Performed at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery and at the National Theatre, Washington, DC by actor Bill Largess, Artistic Director of the Washington Stage Guild. Commissioned and produced by the National Portrait Gallery and Catholic University of America, November 2006 through March 2007. National Theatre performance October 2008.

  

 

 

Feldspar The War Over Feldspar, a full-length play, presented at the Page-to-Stage Festival at the Kennedy Center, Washington, DC, September 2006.

 

 

 

 

The Sitters The Sitters, a one-act play, written and directed by E. Warren Perry, Jr., presented as part of the Riant Theatre Strawberry One-Act Festival at the Producers Club II, New York, NY, August 2006.  Winner of Best Director award; finalist for Best Play and members of the cast were nominated for Best Actor and Best Actress awards. Published in the Best Plays of the Strawberry One-Act Festival, Volume 4, 2007.

 

 

The Curator The Curator, a full-length play, MFA production, presented at Catholic University of America, November 2005 and as a reading at the Kennedy Center Page-to-Stage Festival, Washington, DC, September 2003. A one-act version, written and directed by E. Warren Perry, Jr., was presented at the Samuel French Short Play Festival, New York, NY, July 2004.
